About Me
To the right is another shot of my Baby Lakes. For about ten years I crewed on a race team at the Reno Air Races. I designed and built the fuselage for Dago Red back in the early eighties. I also spent three years building the Unlimited Air Racer Tsunami. I obtained my Airframe and Powerplant Lic. in the mid seventies and have been building airplanes ever since.

The History or Story Behind My Site
I have always loved airplanes and flying. As a young kid I started to build model airplanes. I started with U control models and soon started building my first radio control model which was a Sterling Mini Mambo. It used a single channel radio and an escapement. I then got into pulse systems and then reed systems. Before long the new proportional systems were born. I was one of the first to build my own Heathkit 5 channel system. I got into quaterr midget and formula one racing for a few years. When I started building full size aircraft it was time to temporarly retire from rc modeling. There was just not enough money in the budget for both hobbies.

More About Me
In 1976 I obtained my A & P License from Northrop University. In 1978 I got my Private Pilots License. I have built a Bushby Midget Mustang and a Hatz Biplane. I also restored from the ground up a Northrop T-38 Talon. I have been building RV parts for about ten years now. I have completed 27 sets of RV Empenage Kits as well as 6 complete spar sets and many other RV parts. For the last couple years I have been teaching the RV Workshops. I love to pass on to others what I have learned over the years. When my students leave my class they walk out with the necessary skills required to complete their objectives.
