A couple more pictures and I will be done with FWF.

Oil Cooler Brace
This is the Tom Emery version of the oil cooler brace. I've seen them attached to the valve cover screws as well as the crankcase bolts. There is a 1/4-20 thread right in the middle of the case so why not use this? I made a bracket and slightly bent it to line up with a piece of .032 wall SS tubung. This thing is pretty strong. I guess that I will find out what works best real soon.
Primer Lines
Here's my primer installation. Note the SS tubing. I made a bracket and attached it to the baffle angle. Inserted a bulkhead fitting and used two adel clamps. This made a pretty sturdy installation. I just ran copper lines from the tee fittings to the primer nozzles. I routed 1/8" copper around the front to #1 cylinder. It's a lot easier than around the back side.
Primer Lines 2
Note the copper line that comes up from the primer valve is a pretty straight shot. There is a 360 loop after the engine mount where it attaches to the bulkhead fitting. This is for the engine movement. I think that I will remake this line and put another 360 between the mount and valve just for kicks. It just seems to me that this would be a good place to fail even though the mount doesn't move.
Left Front
I just finished installing the spinner. It helps to pay attention when lining up things. After getting it all on, tracked, and safetied I had to remove it all to rotate the front bulkhead 180 degrees because the holes didn't line up. DAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Front View
I couldn't help but take this picture. This airplane is awesome and I built it myself.
Sitting in my garage
Next weekend I am going to start this beast for the first time. The next group of photos will be coming from my hangar at Chino. The wings are going on.
Battery Box
Okay, I can have a sense of humor can't I? This one's for you Terry. Hope that you enjoyed my site. Check back often.
